the travel bug

This morning I asked Oliver, age two, what he wanted to do today. He said, "Go to England." While I thought that sounded like a jolly idea, I explained that England was too far away and takes a whole day to fly there. What else would he like to do? "Fly in airplane," he responded. Right. So I asked him what else he'd like to do today. Here was our conversation:

Oliver: Go to Canada.
Me: We're already in Canada.
Oliver: No, we're in our house.
Me: Yes, but our house is in Canada. We live in Canada.
Oliver: Go to Egypt.

I think he's inherited my travel bug.
