I was washing up the dishes while Oliver was playing on the island, behind me, with his button collection. Or so I thought. I turned, just in time to see him slice his third and final banana in half with the bread knife I apparently left out. I tried to sound angry to cover up my amusement at seeing the bananas hanging there like that, one clean slice each, almost-but-not-quite through, but I'm not sure even he was convinced - although I really wasn't happy he was playing with knives. That's okay, I was going to make banana bread anyway ...

I was washing up the dishes while Oliver was playing on the island, behind me, with his button collection. Or so I thought. I turned, just in time to see him slice his third and final banana in half with the bread knife I apparently left out. I tried to sound angry to cover up my amusement at seeing the bananas hanging there like that, one clean slice each, almost-but-not-quite through, but I'm not sure even he was convinced - although I really wasn't happy he was playing with knives. That is too funny! I can see it would be hard to keep a straight face. I'm glad you took that picture as it gave me a good chuckle! You sure have to watch that little guy EVERY second. I can see that there's never a dull moment around your house! lol
Yes, life is certainly more interesting with a vibrant little person around. I can't wait to see the explosion of creativity when two of them are conspiring together!
