baby pics
I've been pretty lousy at taking pics since the newest Pear Tree came along two weeks ago, but a certain dress (see below) coupled with a certain brand new little girl, inspired me to get off my butt and start capturing the moment, starting today, after church. After all, you're only an infant once, and how's that for a Kodak (or in this case, Canon) moment?

Yeah, she's a different, less obvious blend of Kyle and I, I think. While I don't directly see either of us, I do see a LOT of Oliver - which is odd because O. looked like a clone of Kyle but Ammers doesn't. Weird how genetics work.
The dress came from a lady at church who has a baby girl about two months older than Amélie. When she was a new born I made a fuss about the dress and how angelic her baby looked in it - then, to my surprise, she passed it along a couple of weeks ago because her daughter had outgrown it. It's such a pretty dress!
What do I have to do to bribe your mom into making me a hat like that? One of my most treasured gifts for Scarlett was the little outfit and blanket your mom made for her.
I could certainly put in a good word for you ... let me know when the time comes that you actually NEED one, though ;-)
I was just going to say, Amanda, you KNOW what you have to do to get a hat like Amelie's!! ;D
