I keep checking my blog, pointlessly, hoping it will change but knowing deep down that there are no blog fairies to do it for me ... are there??
So I'm taking matters into hand and putting something (anything!) up, no guarantees about quality. Random thoughts that flit past while I get Oliver's dinner ready (smashed potatoes, roast butternut squash, brown beans laced with maple syrup and cottage cheese).
I'm listening to a CD called Celtic Didjeridu: A Mystic Celtic Dreamtime. Yes, it is as trippy as you would think.
I'm feeling the littlest bit queasy and think I'm catching a cold, HQ'd mainly in my throat.
Why does the Man With The Yellow Hat keep leaving Curious George alone places with the admonition to "Please stay here and don't be too curious." He's a monkey - of COURSE he's going to get into trouble! If you didn't know that to begin with, wouldn't you have learned by now? And as for that mother in The Cat in the Hat, she deserves to come home to a house falling a part for leaving two kids that age alone for the day! Just had to get that off my chest...
I think I need to drink more water.
So long for now ...

Can I have some of that dinner, it sounds yummy.
Scarlett had mashed potatoes, spinach, and veggie sausages (with leeks & cheese in them or some such magical mixture) for dinner. Then some yogurt.
Oh, that sounds good, too! I need to stockpile some good ideas - I'm falling into a food rut :(
You can't fall into a food rut yet!! You're just starting, wait until you have to make school lunches. That's where it gets hard.
